Booking system for rentals & hire
With Activento you rent out kayaks, pedal boats or motorboats online. Your customers rent by the hour or for the whole day. Anyone turning up at your station gets their boat at the register. When a boat goes out there, it is gone online at the same moment. At pickup you scan the ticket with your phone.

Rental length & prices
Kayak hire, two hours or all day
You set your own prices and start times for each rental length. The single kayak costs €32 for four hours, the tandem kayak €44. For four hours you offer six start times, for a full day only 09:00 and 10:00. Anyone starting at 11:00 sees right away that the kayak is due back by 15:00. The €100 deposit is already listed in the booking. It is only paid at the station on pickup.

Gear & sizes
Boats and vests counted piece by piece
For every model and size you enter how many you have. For example ten pedal boats and twelve kids' vests in M. Each booking holds its boats and vests for the rental time. Before and after each rental there is a buffer, say 20 minutes for cleaning. The same kids' vests go out with pedal boats and kayaks. Each pedal boat can take at most four kids' vests in M.

Damage cover and dry bag added right away
Your customers add extras right along with the kayak. Damage cover costs ten percent of the rental price. For the dry bag you charge €2.50 each, for the phone case €3.50. Everything is then already on the booking. At the station there is nothing left to ask about.
Two pedal boats for an hour, paid in cash
Anyone who drops by is out on the water in no time. You tap two pedal boats for one hour into the register. Your customer pays the €33 in cash or by QR code on their phone. In Germany a TSE is connected to the register. It signs every sale for your cash book.
Requirements & handover
Boat licence uploaded as a PDF
For your 60 hp motorboat you make the boating licence mandatory. Your customer uploads it as a PDF while booking, otherwise the booking does not go through. You also set a minimum age, for example 18 on the rental day. Anyone younger reads your own message right away. At handover on the jetty you scan the ticket with the Activento app. The app shows you that Martin Seidel is checked in and has paid.
