Checkout

At the checkout, your guests complete their booking. They enter their contact details, add participant details and booking questions where needed and choose a payment method. No customer account is required. You decide which fields are asked and which payment methods are available. After payment, your guests automatically receive their confirmation with ticket by email.

At the checkout

The checkout in the booking widget

The checkout brings together contact details, participant details, payment methods and the booking summary. By default it runs in two steps. As a pop-up, the whole checkout can also be shown on one single page. Which fields appear and which of them are required, you set in the widget editor. Before paying, your guests accept your terms and privacy policy.

Payment via Mollie or Stripe

Online payments run through your own Mollie or Stripe account, for example by credit card, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay, depending on the provider, and PayPal through your own PayPal account. You decide which payment methods are offered, also separately for single tours. To pay, your guests are forwarded to the payment provider.

Reservation until payment

The reservation from the cart stays valid at the checkout. While it runs, the selected capacity remains reserved for your guests. During the redirect to the payment provider it is extended, and once it expires the seats are bookable again.

Checkout fields

First name, last name and email address are required by default. Further fields such as phone, address, company, VAT ID or a comment can be switched on in the widget editor, each as required or optional.

Cart abandonments

Abandoned bookings in the dashboard

If a reservation expires without payment, the abandonment is saved under Cart abandonments: with time, tour, date, number of people and the contact details already entered. Abandonments are recorded as soon as the reservation countdown is active. You decide how long the entries are kept, from 7 days to 12 months. A dashboard tile shows the number of abandonments.
