Time slots & tickets
Every 30 minutes 60 guests may ride up
For each time slot you set how many guests may board. At Panoramabahn Hochalm that is 60 per slot. When booking, your guests see that 18 tickets are still free at 10:30. The ascent costs €21.50, the up and down ride €32.50. Seniors from 65 pay €28.50 for it, children €16. Instead of time slots you can also sell day tickets for your opening hours.

Passes & boarding
Summit pass scanned on every ride
Right at the cabin your team scans every ticket with the Activento app. A summit pass covers any number of rides for 48 hours from the first scan. The Huber family gets a green scan, the Grubers' pass has expired. There is often no signal at the summit station. So your team loads the guest list onto the phone beforehand. The 23 scans from the dead spot wait until the signal is back.
Expired passes are turned away
Pass valid 24, 48 or 72 hours

Sold at the counter, gone online at once
Without a booking, guests go to the counter at the valley station. Your team sells there in the browser, on a tablet or in the Activento app. Guests pay cash or by QR code on their own phone. The three seats at 10:30 are then gone online too. In Germany every sale runs through a TSE.
Public holidays cost 10 percent more
You set the surcharge once, for example 10 percent on 3 October. The same works for certain weekdays or a period such as the autumn holidays. The price can also rise when a time slot is almost fully booked. You never have to change a price by hand. Your guests only see the final price.
Weather & operations
In a storm you cancel every ride
When a storm hits the summit, you cancel all 16 time slots of the day. Every guest with a ticket for that day gets an e-mail with your message. If you allow it, the guests rebook to Sunday themselves or cancel free of charge. You enter the maintenance from 2 to 20 November as a blocked period in advance. You send the winter timetable as a broadcast to everyone who has already booked.
