Booking system for courses & workshops

With Activento you sell your courses and workshops online. Your participants sign up for the pottery evening or the diving course whenever it suits them. You ask about prior experience right at booking. Anyone who falls ill moves their class date themselves. When a spot opens up, your waitlist gets an e-mail at once.

Class dates & formats

An evening class or two whole days

For the pottery evening you set fixed times, for example 5 and 7 pm. The pottery weekend runs over two days. When booking, your participants only pick the Saturday. The calendar marks the Sunday along with it. If a course runs over six Tuesday evenings, your participants sign up once for every date. If only three spots are left, it says so right next to the date. The private pottery night is paid by the group as a whole, say 390 euros for six friends.

Ask about experience right at booking

For the advanced class you define which experience your participants need. When booking, each person states their experience level. If Jonas has no experience yet, your own error message appears at once. The booking then does not go through. You also add your own questions, say which classes someone has already taken. All answers end up in your participant list later.

Materials and firing paid with the booking

You set up clay and firing as a required extra for 18 euros. Anyone who likes adds the starter tool kit. A free text field takes the preferred glaze colour. You enter how many kits you have in stock. Once the last kit is sold, your participants can no longer add it.

Recipients pick the class themselves

You sell your gift cards through your booking widget. The buyer picks an amount like 80 euros or a specific class. They add the name of the recipient and a greeting. Right after paying they get the PDF with the code. When booking, Mia then enters the code.

Rebooking & waitlist

Participants move their class date themselves

If someone falls ill, they move to another date in “My booking” themselves. Instead of Thursday they come a week later, for example. Whether that is allowed and until when is up to you per class. You can also charge a fee for it. If someone cancels altogether, an e-mail goes out at once to all four people on the waitlist. If only three of six places for the watercolour workshop are booked, you hear 48 hours ahead.
